Rev. Dr. Orin Gill
Rev. Dr. Orin E. Gill, Sr. was appointed as Senior Pastor to Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church Sunday, May 28, 2023, under the leadership of Presiding Bishop James L. Davis. Pastor Gill’s ministry and messages are Holy Spirit inspired and designed to draw people to Jesus Christ in order that they receive salvation and become empowered to fulfill their God given purpose here on Earth. His preaching and teaching styles have been characterized as both powerful and life changing.
Pastor Gill has over 30 years of experience as Pastor of various churches in Atlanta, Virginia, Texas, and North Carolina. After 25 years of service, he retired in 2013 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a Public Health Analyst. Pastor Gill earned his Doctor of Ministry Degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary - Lynchburg, VA, May 2011, Master of Arts in Church Growth from Liberty University - Lynchburg, VA, 2009, Master’s in Public Administration, Urban Planning and Growth Management from Florida Atlantic University - Boca Raton, FL, December 1982 and Bachelor’s Double majors (Business Administration and Public Administration) from Edward Waters College - Jacksonville, FL, May 1981.
Pastor Gill is a conference speaker, counselor, mentor, and servant-leader. He leads with passion for reaching the lost and equipping saints for service in Christ. He has four grown children and five grandchildren. His ultimate goal in ministry is to help people accept and build a vertical relationship with Christ. He is guided by Philippians 4:13, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
First Lady Dr. Gayle Daniels Gill
First Lady Dr. Gayle Daniels Gill, affectionately known as "Dr. G," was born and raised in the vibrant city of Jacksonville, Florida, where she developed a deep-rooted passion for helping others navigate life's challenges. As the second oldest of six siblings, her upbringing instilled values of compassion, resilience, and faith.
Her life's mission revolves around providing unwavering support to those grappling with various life issues while exemplifying the boundless love of Christ to all mankind. Dr. G's ministry and messages are Holy Spirit inspired, seeking to draw people closer to Jesus Christ, enabling them to embrace salvation and fulfill their divine purpose on Earth. Her preaching and teaching styles are recognized for their powerful and life-changing impact.
In 2005, Dr. Gayle founded Words of Comfort Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to offering hope to women facing challenges and those seeking assistance with their day-to-day struggles. With over 30 years of experience in lay Christian counseling, Dr. G earned her Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary and a Masters of Christian Counseling from LOGOs Colleges and Universities. Additionally, she holds a Masters of Science Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida A&M University. Driven by her love for God's word and her passion for helping people, she is currently pursuing a Masters of Christian Ministry from Liberty University.
As a conference speaker, counselor, mentor, and servant-leader, Dr. Gayle is dedicated to building up the Kingdom of God through the teachings of the Bible. She was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel in 2012 at Berean Christian Church Gwinnett, in Snellville, Georgia, under the leadership of Dr. Kevin B. Lee, Pastor. A clinical member and Certified Temperament Counselor of the National Christian Counselors Association, she is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Dr. Gayle is a published author of two insightful works, "10 Most Common Prayer Mistakes and How to Avoid Them" and "Before You Do...Think!" These literary contributions aim to guide readers in recognizing pitfalls and making decisions that empower them in relationships and life.
Happily married to Rev. Dr. Orin Gill, Senior Pastor of Allen Chapel AME Church, Jackson, NC, Dr. Gayle is the proud mother of two young adults, Marissa Daniels Waiters and Marvin Lee Daniels, II. With an unwavering belief that with God, all things are possible, Dr. Gayle continues to inspire and uplift those she encounters on her journey of faith and service.
